Baby Carrier

I have been eyeing for this since my SIL told me that awal2 kalau gi jalan2 baby lagi suka dekat dengan kita instead of being in a stroller.  Not sure how true it is sbb xde experience kan.  But since mmg dah dalam list, i mmg tunggu time nak usha the carrier.  

Anyway, masa google2 for baby stuffs online, I saw this Mothercare 4 position baby carrier.  Price is RM76.  Hmm not bad at all! Sebab I know kat luar harga dia around RM200+.  And kalau sale pun around RM100+.  Being me, I googled for more.  And guessed what? the cheapest I found is RM55 and plus postage of RM12 it would be RM67!!! Murahkan?!!  Cuma that website kena pre-order, dia kumpul kan order then baru beli banyak2 hence that very cheap price!  I ni kalau beli benda online, bila dah bayar tu, nak org tu pos esok juga sbb tak sabar nak dapat barang tu so kalau pre-orders ni cam slow sikit la.  But again, malas nak rush sbb deadline for pre-order lambat lagi so still got time to think!  There are other more websites yg jual ranging from RM59 to RM100 before postage. And postage pun around RM12.  So, i was thinking, xpe la tunggu dulu la since banyak juga options.

But mungkin my rezeki, hari ni jalan2 kat OU and Mom's Care ada sale.  Last day pulak tu today.  Cam langkah kanan pulak we all.  I saw the same carrier and it was on sale for RM99.  But on top of that sale, ada lagi reduction and the final price is RM79.  Ok, being a math person, I did some calculation dalam kepala.  Of cos la yg pre-order online tu is cheaper but RM13 like that but it's just to tempting to buy it since it is in front of my eyes.  Asked hubby, he said, nak amek sekarang pun xpe.  Wahhh.. apalagi, terus la i grabbed and since there is only 1 red colour left, x ku lepaskan peluang ni.  Hehehe.

Ok, again, being an account person, I was still doing the math dalam kepala!! Hahaha.  Gelojoh sgt ke terus grabbed? Even when hubby was handling the cash to the cashier pun I was still thinking!  Hahaha.. tapi beli je jugak.. ayoo Naz!!

Anyway, bila kat rumah terus buka and try on me.  Tak sabar kan nak explore.  We wanted to kidnap my SIL's baby nak try with him tapi dia dah tido pulak.  Ish!  X kan nak try kat fluffy pulak kan.. hahhahaha..

Today's lunch - Bihun Goreng

Whilst I'm in the mood to write, let me share my lunch menu for today!

Presenting my very 1st attempt of Bihun Goreng! *insert fireworks here*

Saya budak masih belajar memasak.  Bab2 memasak ni mmg x expert la.  So walaupun mungkin for some ppl, bihun goreng ni consider "kacang" je utk masak tp for me it's something new.  So saya sangat happy!! *melompat2 kegembiraan*  If u ask my siblings, my parents or even my close friends, mereka2 ni tahu yg saya ni mmg x pandai masak sebelum kawin.  Serious x pandai ok! I only know how to goreng telor, masak maggi and masak nasi.  That's it!  So basically, I started learning few months lepas kawin.  But everyday is a brand new day to learn something new.  So sikit2 i try to enhance my cooking skills la.  Of cos, hubby and siblings adalah orang2 penting utk mencuba dan mengkritik masakan I.  Tapi my siblings usually akan cakap sedap and puji2 terlebih sbb nak suruh i masak lagi.  So hubby's opinions lah yang paling honest and boleh pakai.  Sedap dia ckp sedap, kurang sedap dia ckp la apa yg x cukup.  But dia makan je kalau kurang sedap pun. hihi. cuma harus la improve kan next time :))

Anyhoo, here's sharing the resipi for today's menu.  Actually google je for the resipi and ikut sebiji2 sbb nampak sedap.  And yes! mmg sedap pun resipi ni. I followed exactly, xde nak terlebih2 or terkurang kan anything.  So enjoy je utk sapa2 yg baru nak belajar like me.  Yang dah expert tu, sila la ignore :)


Ingredients:

1/2 bungkus meehoon (rendam sekejap dengan air sejuk - pastu toskan airnya)
2 ulas bawang putih (tumbuk)
3 ulas bawang merah (tumbuk)
1/2 batang carrot (shred) - x letak pun xpe.
2-3 pokok sawi
2 sudu besar cili boh (kalau x nak pedas kurangkan)
1 piring kecil ayam/daging
1/2 kiub ayam
1 sudu besar sos cili
1 sudu esar sos tomato
1 biji telur ayam
Kicap manis secukupnya
Air secukupnya (kalau kering sgt, but i x letak pun)
Minyak masak


Cara2nya adalah:

1. Tumis bawang putih & bawang merah sampai wangi.

2. Dekat-dekat nak garing tu masukkan cili boh. Biarkan sekejap sampai naik minyak.

3. Masukkan kiub ayam

4. Masukkan ayam/daging  kacau -kacau.

5. Masukkan semua sos & kicap

6. Bila ayam/daging dah agak empuk, masukkan sayur semua

7. Pecahkan telur kacau sikit

8. Masukkan bihun

9. Kalau kering sangat baru masukkan air. Itupun sikit sikit ye.

10. Rasa - tip top?

11. Hidang! 

Itu saja, mudah juga sebenar and and it took me less than an hour je utk sediakan bahan, mengoreng dan mengemas dapur terus! Jemput makan ye! :))

And he weds her - Fathuddin & Liyana ♥♥♥

Attended Fathuddin & Liyana's wedding reception last Saturday.  Majlis yang sungguh gilang gemilang :)) It was held at Dewan Perdana Felda.  My aunty mmg suka buat wedding anak2 dia kat sini.  Dari wedding her 1st daughter sampai Fathuddin nya wedding pun kat sini jugak.  But we like it sbb it's very convenient plus parking sangat senang.  Of cos, a bit far from Subang/Kelana Jaya area but as for last Saturday, since it is CNY, so jalan mmg super lengang sbb chinese tgh makan besar mlm tu :)

I don't really know Fathuddin that well sbb dia ni batch adik2 i.  So masa mula2 family kepochi pasal anak aunty J tunang ngan Liyana Jasmay, macam terfikir2 juga anak aunty J yang mana.  I only know anak2 aunty J yang baya2 i je.  And yang i kenal pun sume dah kawin so can't be any of them. Fathuddin is way younger so mmg x berapa nak cam la before this. Hehe..

Anyway, bila aunty J bagi the invitation card, I terus suruh my mum tanya if we could have extra 2 sits.  Sebab i nak sgt ajak my PIL.  Saja la nak ajak sbb my MIL mmg suka attend weddings and kebetulan this wedding dgn artis kan.  So why not.  Aunty J mmg best, since there were 8 of us, dia terus ckp we can have the whole table.  So cukup2 la 10 of us at that table termasuk my PIL :))

Welcoming 2nd Trimester

Alhamdulillah, syukur sgt2 dah masuk 4 bulan.  Today had an appointment with my gynae.  Finally!  

Tapi hari ni x scan. Huhuhu.  But it was expected la.  Govt hospital - ok ok PPUM is a semi-govt - dia x scan every visits.  Untuk scan kena buat appointment lain sbb scanner machine dia sgt canggih so x mampu kot utk letak kat each gynae's room.  Plus they have another separate department yang handle ultrasound so all scannings are done there.  

So my next appointment with the gynae which will be in a month time dia dah set awal2 untuk check i masa dia on duty kat the ultrasound department sbb senang bleh check and scan sekali. I consider myself lucky sbb my gynae yg akan scan I juga.  Unlike others, yg jumpa gynae lain2 every visits, bila time scan, sonographer yg akan scan and forward report to the patients' gynae.  

I ni agak mengada mentang2 dah check ngan Dr Sofi, so semuanya la nak Dr Sofi buat kan.  And of cos la Dr Sofi's fee lagi mahal kan as compared to the sonographer if she does the scanning. But it's ok.  I rela, sebab mahal2 pun, I suka her explanation sambil scan tu.  Tak macam some sonographer yg dok main tonyoh je alat tu kat perut kita and... done!  Duh!  Furthermore, dgn Dr Sofi I boleh mengada2 nak request gambar untuk letak dlm my  little bouncy's album.  

So today lepas consultation for a while, then Dr Sofi just check perut, dia rasa2 perut nak tgk kedudukan rahim kat ne.  Dr cakap dah naik sampai ke pusat.  Ok, that explained why last week pusat and tali pusat i sakit yg x terkata.  Bila tanya dia pun dia ckp sbb the uterine pressure sbb dah expand sampai pusat.   Nothing to worry :)

Then after that, part yg i tunggu2 (since no scan is performed kan).  Doctor letak doppler kat perut utk nak dengar baby's heartbeat.  Alhamdulillah, sgt laju heartbeat my bouncy ni.  Tengah2 layan the sound of the bouncy's heartbeat tetiba... bunyi dush!  Then Dr Sofi gelak,  Terkejut gue!  Dr cakap, baby tendang.  Lol.  Patut la pun Dr gelak.  Ingat kan kenapa.  Hubby siap ckp ingat kan bunyi perut lapar.  Hahahha. 

As for my weight, I only increase 0.8kg after 4 months pregnant.  Dr cakap basically I did not put on weight (which is good she said).  Yang increase tu is actually the baby's growing and also the placenta.  Dr cakap with my weight yang overweight before preggy dulu, I should not increase more than 9kg throughout the pregnancy.  So basically, what she's saying is with the baby's weight, placenta and hormon growth, berat badan i yg boleh increase is only about 2-3kg.  Wahh... really have to watch that I don't go beyond that!  But of cos at the same time, Dr xde la suruh i diet kan.  Dia ckp, "don't listen when ppl said bila pregnant ni u r eating for two.  Nope! u shd not be eating for two.  u shd eat smart, eat healthy and nutritious food."

As for my sugar level is concern......Dang!  This week my sugar level is abit haywire!  My fasting sugar is high as in at a borderline and my bsp pun tinggi despite the same type of food I've been eating.  When I told Dr Sofi, she is very calm.  Dia cakap, sebab pregnancy has advances so insulin tu dah x cukup.  so even though I makan benda yg sama like the previous weeks, but as the pregnancy advances, mmg kena increase the dose sbb more pregnancy hormones dah increase and my current dose x cukup.  So sah2 la bila jumpa my endocrine specialist, sudah pasti dia akan increase my insulin dose.  Oh nevermind, what ever it is, mmg kena cucuk pun no matter what is the dosage.  So terima saja la.  

I always remind myself, jgn stress!  Be calm and embrace each moment :)

So that's all for now.  InshaaAllah more updates on the bouncy.

So I gave him a green light..

Bila kawin dgn seorg diver, harus la tiap2 tahun, our holiday destination would be going to an island.  Before we got married, mmg hubby ada geng2 dia yg tiap2 tahun, they all mmg akan blocked a date untuk pergi island beramai-ramai.  

And bila dah kawin, since I love island visits as well and nk support his interest, so we still continue with his yearly island visits.  1st year kawin, pergi Perhentian, 2nd year gi Mabul and this year our plan is to go to Redang.  Like always, kalau pergi pulau ni kena la at the right time sbb monsoon etc.  So every year mmg dalam bulan March or April.  This year pulak, since ada promo hubby and friends plan to go this March.  

I know hubby was a bit berbelah bagi whether to go or not to go.  Hubby is so worried to bring me along walaupun I told him that it would be ok.  i can just rest kat chalet or lepak on the boat while they are having their water activities.  Tapi hubby risau nanti atas boat tu terhentak2 dek kerana ombak kan.  I pun risau gak tapi yelah sapa yg x nak ikot kan.  Ada juga at times i tgk hubby cam xde mood nak gi sbb kesian kat wife dia, tapi, since hubby is the mastermind, kalau dia x pergi, semua org pun cancel la trip tu.  Tu yg x best tu.

Of cos, if u ask me, my "selfish" answer would be, "x payah la pergi, since i x leh pergi".  But bila fikir yang hubby has worked so hard through out the year, he deserves an island holiday.  Dive into the sea, kiss2 pipi ngan ikan2 and turtle dah mcm therapy untuk dia.  So I told him, "it's ok, u pergi la, sian u.  I x yah ikot la".

Wah, bila dapat je green light, terus kembali bersemangat.  And the same day balik keja, terus bgtau i the dates that they are planning to go.  Amboi! x menyempat.  Takut i changed my mind ke sayang? hehe..

Apapun, nasib the day he comes back is one day b4 our anniversary.  So I told him, regardless he penat ke  x, i still want a dinner treat on that day. lol.

Homestay Review @ Seberang Jaya, Penang.

Arini I nak buat review sikit pasal this homestay that my family and I stayed last weekend kat Seberang Jaya, Penang.  We were there for my cousin's engagement, so kalau dah big family tu, lagi jimat la amek homestay kan.  Berlambak je hotel kat sana tapi with 8 of us, u do the math la.  Berapa bilik nak amek kan.  So we decided that homestay would be most ideal. 

Kerja untuk mencari dan buat research psl homestay, of cos la I kan.  Sebab if possible, nak cari the best possible with a good price.  And with that good price, nak compare la pulak beberapa homestay yg ada nak tgk apa yg tuan rumah tu offer.  Since there were 8 of us, mama & ayah, me & hubby and my 4 sisters, so we were looking for somewhere with at least 3 rooms.  

And luck was on my side.  Kejap je google, one of the links directed me to the homestay that we rented.

Baca reviews terus i terpikat plus the pictures available memang perfect!  So I terus booked, sebab takut full pulak nanti.  Kalau nak tau more about the facilities provided boleh la refer kat link tu.  Those facilities mmg plus points la.  I was looking for a 3 bedrooms apartment and fully air-conditioned but the homestay provides more.  walahhh!

Bestkan homestay ni?  Totally recommended!!  Sapa2 yg agak2 nak ke sana and looking for a homestay boleh la book tempat ni.  Currently it is still on a promo - RM149 per night.  Am not sure sampai bila promo ni.  Maybe lepas cukup setahun, owner naik kan tatau.  But u can just go the the link above to check it out.
